Description: ElderDog Canada is a national, community-based, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting aging individuals and their canine companions. We are 100% volunteer based and support is free of charge to seniors in need of our services. Our services include:

• Dog Care Support for Seniors: Assisting older adults with tasks such as dog walking, transportation to veterinary appointments, dog food delivery, and basic grooming to help them continue caring for their dogs at home. ​

• Rehoming Older Dogs: Finding new, loving homes for senior dogs who have lost their caregivers due to illness, relocation, or death. ​

• Long-Term & Perpetuity Care: Providing ongoing care plans for dogs to ensure their well-being in the event their human companions can no longer care for them

Guidelines & Policies: Dogs must remain on leash at al times. Only one dog is walked at a time, no group walks are offered. Volunteers cannot with with aggressive dogs, and dogs must be well behaved on a leash.
