First Aid “Fur” Pets Preventative Care Centre

Description: Heather provides Walks ‘N’ Wags Pet First Aid Course, and the Walks ‘N’ Wags “Off the Grid” Course. She has been teaching these courses since 2011, and it is the longest running pet first aid course in Canada. this course is regularly updated to reflect current best and effective practices. Courses can be provided privately for small groups at a discount, and additionally for two people registering to take the course on the same day.

Note: Dogs, with certain limitations, are welcome to come but require registration prior to the course date. The registration form online provides more information about our requirements. Not all dogs are accepted (behavioural and age dependent). Cats are best left at home.

Certifications: Certified since 2011 by Walks ‘N’ Walks as an instructor.

Hours: Office Hours are Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm. Course date and times are listed on the website, and typically operate from 9-7pm for single day courses, or 9-3pm and 2-7pm for two day courses. Private courses are subject to days and times that are arranged privately and not listed on the website.

Location: Various. Courses take place in buildings along the Sunshine Coast, wherever dogs are allowed to enter the premises. See website for specific upcoming course locations.
